Seeking therapy is a brave and vulnerable endeavor. It can feel overwhelming to think about what you’re specifically looking for – both in the work you’re about to do and the person you’ll be choosing to work with. Many prospective clients feel the same way. Sometimes it can take time to figure out what kind of therapy – and what kind of therapist – will provide the kind of support you need. My hope for you is that you find a good match for you (even if that isn’t me) and begin to believe that you will feel better.
My approach to therapy – which is influenced by your contributions/thoughts/concerns as we begin working together – combines traditional counseling methods with experiential approaches, such as expressive arts and nature-based interventions. I want to help you learn to work with your own brain and heart, rather than against them (something we are apt to do, unintentionally, when we’re struggling).

I invite you to peruse my site and to consider contacting me for a free phone consult, as hearing someone’s voice can give you a lot of information that you can’t get from viewing words on a screen. I look forward to speaking with you!
